My name is John Jiggy. I once lived a life of crime, violence, and destruction. Prison was my reality, and anger ruled my heart. I thought I was strong, but inside I was empty and broken. Everything changed when I encountered Jesus Christ. In a prison service, I heard that no one is beyond God’s grace. That night, I surrendered my life to Christ. The hatred left, the guilt lifted, and peace filled my heart. I knew I was forgiven and made new. After my release, God connected me to Victory Outreach Liverpool. There, I found family, discipleship, and purpose. God restored my life and gave me a new direction. Today, I am free, transformed, and living proof that Jesus still saves and restores lives. If He did it for me, He can do it for anyone.

Before I met Jesus in Victory Outreach, my life was a constant, exhausting, and losing battle with anxiety. I was a 'fix-it-myself' person, believing that if I just worked harder or planned better, I could control my happiness. It was a lie. I was anxious, empty, and felt like I was running on a treadmill that was moving too fast. Then, a friend invited me to a gathering where I finally realized I didn't have to carry this burden alone. I realized Jesus offered peace I couldn't buy or create myself. I made the decision to surrender my need for control to Him. Today, I am not perfect, and I still face challenges, but I live with a profound, unexplainable peace. The chaos is still there, but I'm not in it alone. I’ve exchanged my brokenness for His grace, and it’s the best decision I've ever made.
